There is a new Scottishservice available from the pharmacy where all your gluten free products are now available through the pharmacy without having to go to your surgery. The first thing you do is ask your doctor for a Patient Registration Form. The doctor will confirm in writing that you have been diagnosed as coeliac and the number of units of gluten free products you are allowed per month. Hand that into the pharmacy and the pharmacist will register you and will start by measuribg your BMI (height and weight ratio). After that it is simply a matter of contacting the pharmacy and we will do a prescription for you. It's going to be a much simpler process.
