Do you want help with your hayfever?
- Monitor pollen levels daily and if they are high stay indoors as much as possible
- Limit outdoor trips to country areas. Sea breezes blow pollen in land so you should get some relief at the seaside.
- Have some clothes downstairs to change as soon as you get in and try to wash your hair on return to the house. ( That will stop you taking the pollen getting into the living and bedroom areas)
- Keep windows closed particularly early morning and early evening. A good air filter can help.
- Avoid mowing the lawn but if you do wear a face mask
- Get yourself wrap around sunglasses to keep the pollen away from your eyes.
- Avoid handling washing that’s hanging outside
- Keep car windows closed
- Use Vaseline at the edge of the nose
10) Be aware that pet’s fur will contain pollen
11) Use goggles when swimming
12) Use eye drops regularly during the season
13) If you are using a nasal spray then spray into the side of the nose rather than straight back and use regularly.
